FundersNSFAS provides financial aid to South African students through funding received from various sources. The main funder is the Department of Higher Education & Training, and other funders include the Department of Basic Education, the Department of Social Development, the Department of Agriculture, and the Eastern Cape Provincial Government. NSFAS also administers funds for some universities, as well as for Nedbank. The repayment of student loans by past beneficiaries of NSFAS financial aid is a further crucial element of the Scheme's funding model. NSFAS offers a service for the management and processing of bursaries for companies or organisations that hold funds to assist students financially. We provide expert and cost-effective resources, as well as substantial IT and processing support, all based on the experience gained over many years of managing bursaries and loans for student financial aid. |
