NSFAS will start communicating application results via the myNSFAS portal from the 15th of December 2025.
It enables applicants to stay informed about the status of their application, identify any outstanding requirements, and receive updates on funding decisions.

If your NSFAS application is rejected, you can appeal by following these steps:
Log in to your NSFAS portal.
Check the reason for rejection.
Submit a formal appeal with supporting documentation.

If you have applied for #NSFAS2025 funding and received a request to submit supporting documents, log into your myNSFAS account to upload the required documents.
Students must download the NSFAS 2026 Consent form:NSFAS reserves the right to validate all information and details provided by the applicant and parent/guardian/spouse against independent third party data source.
Students must download the NSFAS Declaration form: This form only applies to applicants who are 34 years old or younger. This form is used to verify parental/guardian details.
Students with disabilities must provide: A completed and signed Disability Annexure Form, please ensure that the medical report is merged with this disability annexure when you create a file to submit with your application.
Students must download the NSFAS Orphan or Vulnerable Child Declaration form: This form is only to be completed by applicants who are under the age of 18 and who are orphans OR, who are vulnerable children in that they have been exposed to abuse, neglect, exploitation, risk of violence and substance abuse.
